Course Selection

Course Selection Process (2025-26)

It is that time of year to determine what courses students will take next school year. We want to make sure both parents and students are aware of the process and timeline for student course selection. Below is the timeline and action for registering students who will be in grades 10th - 12th for the 2025 - 26 school year.

Week of February 10th - Students receive course selection sheets in social studies classes. (Linked below as well.)

Week of February 18th - Q & A with the counselors during all lunches.

Monday 2/24 - Thursday 2/27 and Monday 3/3 - Thursday 3/6

  • 9th, 10th, and 11th graders register with counselors (one-on-one) for next years classes in their social studies class

  • Due to the WHS Schedule change for next school year (from A/B block schedule to a 7-period day), students will choose 7 credits and 1 alternate.

  • Students should have their completed choice sheets with them and their charged Chromebook to be able to login to their Skyward account and input their choices.

Friday 3/7 

  • Make-Up day in the library with counselors
