NOT SURE WHAT TO DO AFTER HIGH SCHOOL?
You’re not alone. Many students whose parents have not completed degrees, feel overwhelmed when choosing a path after high school. Generation Pave The Way is here to help. Whether it’s advice on testing, college applications, trade schools, careers or anything else — GPtW was founded to provide students with access to all critical post-secondary information and best possible opportunities.

Whether you are a student or parent, GPtW can help make sense of the sometimes overwhelming task of understanding post-secondary options and information.

OUR MISSION:
The mission of Generaton Pave The Way (GptW) is to bridge the gap to post-secondary information that is seen in many first generation and/or low income Wimberley students. First-generation students are those whose parents have not received a bachelor’s degree. Low-income students are determined by federal guidelines applying to free and reduced lunch eligibility. GPtW was founded seven years ago by Traci Maxwell, who has more than 17 years’ experience with students through the Department of Education. Our program is committed to helping students and families by educating them in post-secondary options including college, trade or technical school, or certfication programs. Services include building resumes, testing, essay-writing, campus visits, volunteer opportunities, scholarship searches, tech programs, college searches and financial aid assistance.
